Welcome to Arabica Copenhagen

Blågårdsgade 12, 2200 København, Denmark

General Info

Located at Blågårdsgade 12 in the heart of Nørrebro, Arabica Copenhagen feels like the kind of neighborhood cafe you stumble into once and then keep coming back to. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, with a casual atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in, whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or planning to linger for a while. It’s family friendly, easygoing, and comfortable without trying too hard, which already sets the tone for the experience.

The menu leans toward well-crafted cafe classics, and the Arabica Brunch Plate is a clear highlight. It’s balanced, filling, and thoughtfully put together, making it a popular choice for slow mornings. Coffee lovers tend to gravitate toward the Oat Milk Mocha, which has a smooth, mellow sweetness that pairs nicely with the cafe’s laid-back mood. If you’re in the mood for something with a bit more spice, the Dirty Chai brings warmth and depth, blending tea and espresso in a way that feels both cozy and energizing.

Food-wise, the sandwiches deserve attention. The Manchego Sandwich stands out for its simple but satisfying flavors, while the Chicken Strips Sandwich is hearty without feeling heavy. These dishes fit naturally into the cafe’s menu and work just as well for lunch as they do for a late brunch. Everything feels designed to be comforting and approachable, which matches the overall personality of the place.

One thing that consistently comes up in reviews is the great tea selection. It’s not an afterthought here, and that makes a difference for guests who prefer tea over coffee. The cafe is also known for being good for working on a laptop, with a calm energy that supports focus without feeling silent or stiff. On top of that, the option to accept reservations adds a layer of convenience, especially during busier hours.

Arabica Copenhagen fits neatly into the local cafe scene, offering a space where good drinks, solid food, and a friendly atmosphere come together. It’s the kind of place that feels genuine, shaped by everyday routines rather than trends, and that authenticity is what keeps people coming back.

What customers say?

“ A cozy place that is close to the center and located in a street where it comes alive in the evening! I like that the place is full of plants and candles. The service is friendly, professional and very nice! Their positive attitude will make your day. :) I definitely recommend a stop if you want to make your day better in Cph. Moreover, the food and coffee were very tasty! I recommend a visit! ”

“ The most delicious breakfast we had in Copenhagen. Homemade granola. Delicious along with the chocolate chip cookie and pancakes. ”

“ Such a cozy spot with great coffee. Really great atmosphere and fair prices. Beautiful interior and sweet staff. ”

“ Great local cafe by Norrebro, ambience id absolutely gorgeous, warm and welcoming and a great place for brunch, it seems tiny and does not serve alcohol hence no mimosas, but the juice (with ginger is to die for), capuccino just perfect and breakfast portions the right size. Service is also amazing, friendly, fast and efficient, despite flow, which is very impressive. I was also impressed by how robust the menu is, from drinks to bites to meals for throughout the day! ”

“ It’s a relaxed and friendly place, and I really like the vibe of this cafe. Food tastes good and has nice portions (I ordered mini brunch and couldn’t finished!). Had a great time here for my brunch ”

“ It is the best coffee place in town and great for breakfast and brunch. The service and the staff are absolutely amazing and always smiley as well as ready to help. They have all possible options to drink and all of them made with care. ”

“ Stepped into a mom and pop style cafe ran by two young ladies. Food was great, decor was detailed to the T. And music selection was good. We ordered the tuna melt toast and the chicken strip sandwhich. Everything tasted fresh, well, and homemade. There were art in the the store for sale as well. Overall experience felt was why we even came to Copenhagen in the first place! ”

“ Best cafe I’ve even been to! The vibes, the people, the setting both inside and out, the food, the drinks and location. Amazing business. I had the pistachio cake and a ginger honey mint tea - exquisite. I’ve been trying to find it on Google maps to leave a review as I went back in April when I was visiting CPH. It’s stuck in my mind so strongly so glad I’ve found it and can save it for future. Thank you so much for such a nourishing sense of true hospitality. 10/10! ”
